The play park is desperately in need of an upgrade - equipment needs to be modernised with the addition of a climbing frame
The play equipment in Lochgelly's West End park is outdated and no longer fit for purpose. We need to be encouraging children to use the park therefore an upgrade is desperately required.
Current equipment is drab, dull and outdated. Upgrading the facilities with more interactive features and better play facilities can be done very quickly and be very affordable. Timber maze climbers, activity towers, etc. Looking at http://www.caledoniaplay.com/ playpark equipment can be provided at affordably funded levels and I am sure there is several groups in Lochgelly that would do a joint application for additional funding if required.
